Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has a rich history of providing scholarships and assistance to those in need. Our National Education Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars to deserving students since its inception in 1975.

Eta Delta Zeta Chapter believes in promoting educational excellence at all levels. We offer  scholarships to motivated students.

  The requirements are:

  • Female graduating from a public high school in Cleveland County and planning to attend a four-year college or university

  • Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA unweighted

  • SAT or ACT scores official copy

  • Must provide copy of official acceptance letter from college or university.  An acceptance letter must be presented prior to receiving the award. 

  • Official high school transcript must be submitted in English

  • The one-time, non-renewable scholarship will be paid directly to a college or university and the applicant to be applied toward tuition or appropriate fees.

  • Proof of enrollment and university or college acceptance must be received from the Registrar’s office. 

  • Enclose 3 x 5  photo (headshot, school photo)

 

Applications can be downloaded from the chapter website.  Completed packets must be mailed to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Eta Delta Zeta Chapter, Attention: Scholarship Committee PO Box 1234 Shelby, NC 29151.
